Biography
Since 2017, queer techno artist OCD has developed a distinctive sound where powerful, relentless rhythms collide with a deep sensitivity to atmosphere, vulnerability, and emotional and psychological depth. A resident DJ at Berlin’s renowned queer party Gegen, she is committed to inclusive, expressive dancefloors. Her releases span labels including Noise Manifesto, Gegen, Voxnox, Boudica, Instruments of Discipline, and Khazad Records. A key milestone was her release on Paula Temple’s Noise Manifesto, coinciding with the label’s closure. She has shared the stage with Paula Temple, including performances at Noise Manifesto label nights. She has also shared the stage with artists she admires, including SNTS, Ancient Methods, Headless Horseman, Ellen Allien, Schwefelgelb, and Bloody Mary, and this year performed again on the main stage at Whole Festival. With performances at iconic venues including Tresor, RSO, Khidi, and KitKatClub, OCD has toured extensively across Europe, playing in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, the Netherlands, Greece, and Georgia. In 2025, she expanded her reach globally with her first Asian tour, performing in Mongolia, Taiwan (at Pawnshop), South Korea (at the legendary Faust), and China, with shows at Potent and Pillbox. Through both sound and presence, OCD continues to explore techno as a space for confrontation, catharsis, and emotional truth.
